Pretty Green Clothing with Character!!!!

A glut of celebrity-led brands have launched into the young fashion market over recent seasons, so when Liam Gallagher announced he was setting up his own Pretty Green clothing label last year, sceptics were dubious about the project and I’m sure many would have been over the moon to see it fall flat it’s face.

But the Oasis frontman has done fashion with style, tapping into the recent trend towards heritage clothing with a 1960s twist, while winning instant fans among the industry and consumers in the process. Pretty Green may be at the start of a journey but it’s one of the most exciting launches the market has witnessed in years. Launching during a recession which i’m sure no other clothing brand would have had the balls to do demonstrated that courage in tough times can indeed pay off and it shows just how static the men’s sector has been in recent years.

The launch of Pretty Green Clothing maybe what some might say is a breath of fresh air to the mens clothing scene. The styles from Pretty Green are quite subtle and simple polo shirts, jackets, knits, t shirts and other basics but all have the back bone and character that you’d liken to Oasis’s early albums.

Get Edwin Jeans for Trousers with History!!!!!

Denim trousers commonly known as jeans have been around since 1873 originally designed for work but became popular as a fashion item in the 1950s.

Over the years various different cuts of jeans, washes of denim and brands of jeans have been developed. Including skinny jeans, straight leg jeans, loose fit jeans, boot cut jeans to name a few. From stonewashed denim to black denim and raw selvage denim to bleached denim, theres a denim for all jeans fans. Popular brands today include Levis , Nudie Jeans, Edwin Jeans, Armani Jeans the list goes on and on.

The word jeans derives from France and the phrase ‘Bleu De Genes’. Today jeans are probably the most common trouser around and are worn by men around the world, some just as an item of clothing but to some a serious obsession. Denim Geeks are really into there jeans and are very particular about the brand, cut and denim they wear, many will only wear raw selvage denim jeans and wont wash them as they believe this takes the goodness out of the denim, some will wash them after 6 months wear as they believe the denim is then worn in.
