KWay

In Paris 1965 Leon-Claude Duhamel watched people rush by in soaking wet clothes, carrying umbrellas which didn’t look a comfortable solution to keeping dry. Leon Claude had a much better idea to keep the rain off and that would also be easy to carry. He came up with the idea of a fully waterproof lightweight jacket that would fold into a small hip bag and the In KWay Jacket was born. In it’s first year the jacket sold more than 250,000 pieces.

Now nearly 50 years since the great idea was put into practice KWay Jackets are seen worn by many all around the world and have now become a classic item. A KWay Claude or Leon Jacket can be found in the wardrobe of anyone who has an eye for a great jacket.

KWay have now virtually disappeared from the UK market again but www.not-addicted.co.uk are one of the very few current stockists of KWay Jackets.

Wood Wood

Wood Wood was launched in Denmark in 2002 by 3 former students from the Royal Design School.

The Wood Wood collection now comprises of Jackets, Jumpers, Sweatshirts, T Shirts, Chinos, Shirts and many other items of clothing and accessories of which most mix edgy design with classic styles to give it something of a unique look.

Although Wood Wood is now an established clothing brand it first began as just a store in Copenhagen selling skateboards, books, sneakers, toys and t shirts with the success of this they saw the natural progression of developing it into a brand.

Wood Wood is seen as an inspiration to many and a way of life to designer Karl-Oskar Olsen.

Andersons Belts

Andersons Belts have been around since 1966 when they started making high quality belts for men, using modern techniques and tradition of the Parma leather artisans. All Andersons Belts are made from the finest quality materials available from European Tanneries.

Andersons Belts are made exclusively in laboratories in Parma and each one is done by an expert craftsman and hand polished.

Now woven Andersons Belts have become very popular with the style conscious British male and are a staple item in any wardrobe.

Andersons Belts are all bespoke and made to order so it’s not common to see too many identical styles even if it’s only a different stitching colour or buckle variation.

Superga

Superga was born in 1911 in Turin by Walter Martiny when he started to make vaulcanised rubber soled shoes. It wasn’t until 14 years later in 1925 that the now classic 2750 model was created, by this time Superga was now established as ‘The Peoples Shoe Of Italy’ and that tag is still used today.

By 1934 many more styles were introduced and now Superga Footwear was seen being used in various types of sports including tennis, yachting, basket ball etc.

Now 100 years on from when Superga first made trainers the 2750 is seen as cool footwear and made in many different colours which can be worn on any occasion either with shorts, denim or chinos.
